Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed his interest in Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
The Ivory Coast international has been linked with a possible move away from Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window, with former club Marseille and Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala strongly rumoured as potential destinations.
Despite heaping praise on the 33-year-old Premier League forward, the former Southampton boss revealed no enquiries had been made about the forward’s services.
“Drogba is a top player, a fantastic player, so, who knows?” Redknapp told reporters on Friday.
“I couldn’t sit here and say we wouldn’t be interested.”
“Anyone would be interested in having Didier Drogba in their team but we have not made any enquiries.”
