Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that he remains keen on being reunited with striker Peter Crouch, according to Sky Sports.
The 33 year old has previously played under Redknapp at Portsmouth, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur and a move to Loftus Road was mooted in the summer.
Crouch is very much still part of the first team set up at Stoke City, where he has appeared in all five of their games this season though his only goal thus far came in a 3-0 win over Portsmouth in the League Cup last month.
The England international spent the 2000/01 season with QPR, who paid Spurs £60,000 for his services though he was unable to help the club avoid dropping down to the third tier.
He has also turned out for Aston Villa, Norwich City and Liverpool, as well as having brief loan spells with non-league Dulwich Hamlet and Swedish side IFK Hassleholm early in his career.
