Redknapp: Lennon deserves England recall

The Daily Mirror reported Harry Redknapp urged Fabio Capello to recall Aaron Lennon after Tottenham’s flying winger destroyed Boro last night. Lennon scored twice in front of watching England coach Capello as Spurs took a giant stride towards safety – and gave Boro a shove towards the trapdoor.

Spurs boss Redknapp said: “Aaron is in fantastic form, he’s flying at the moment. Fabio saw him at Wembley, he will have seen what he did tonight – and he must have a good chance of getting into the next England squad.”
