Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is adamant Luka Modric will not be sold despite heavy interest from big European clubs.
Manchester United, Real Madrid and Inter have been keeping tabs on the Croatian playmaker, but Redknapp rejects any transfer talk.
“I could watch this man play for hours. Sit on the bench and enjoy. I wouldn’t sell him for £100 million. Not even for a billion,” Redknapp told Sportske Novosti.
The Tottenham boss also said that he would like to keep Niko Krancar as well.
“Niko is a great player, a great guy, with proper upbringing, but the boy is simply out of luck.
”I don’t want him to leave the club, he was fantastic last season, but that was the time when Gareth Bale played left-back.
“And sometimes in football someone is dealt a bad hand. Even though, believe me, he will return to the side. I don’t know when, but he will return.”
