Redmond committed to Norwich cause

Nathan Redmond has insisted that he intends to remain with Norwich City despite their relegation to the Championship, Sky Sports understands.

The 20 year old, who netted a hat-trick for England U21’s in their 3-1 victory over Wales U21’s on Monday evening, only moved from to Carrow Road from Birmingham City last summer.

He made 39 appearances for the Canaries in all competitions during the 2013/14 campaign, with his one and only club goal coming in a 1-0 home league victory over Southampton last August.

Norwich’s 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on the final day of the season confirmed their expected return to the Championship after a three-year spell in the top flight, and inevitably led to a number of their key players being linked with moves away from the Norfolk club.

However Redmond, who has three years remaining on his current deal, has reiterated his commitment to helping Norwich win promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
