Reece Oxford could be set for another loan move

Young centre half Reece Oxford is probably becoming used to being shipped out on loan by his parent club West Ham, having spent spells out at Reading and Borussia Monchengladbach for the past two seasons. At just 19-years of age that is perhaps little surprise, but the defender has only recently returned from Germany, and even more recently returned to training after injuring his foot.

There is no rest for Oxford however as, according to the Evening Standard, he could be sent off somewhere else by manager David Moyes. The veteran coach told reporters, “Could he leave on loan again? Possibly but that will be determined by business done throughout the window really.”

The youngster featured just four times for Reading in the Championship, and three times for Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga. Despite his lack of consistent game time, the German side are reportedly keen on a permanent move, but the Hammers would prefer that the talented defender stay on their books.
