Reina believes Reds can win the title

The Mirror understands that Pepe Reina is confident that his parent club Liverpool can go all the way and win the Premier League title this season.

The Reds extended their unbeaten league run to ten games with a fine 3-0 win at the home of reigning champions Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, moving them to within four points of leaders Chelsea with a game in hand.

Of their remaining fixtures, the Merseyside club still have to play both Chelsea and title favourites Manchester City at home and Reina, who is currently on loan with Napoli, is confident that the Reds’ run in is panned out in their favour.

The Spain international goalkeeper, who moved to Liverpool in the summer of 2005, is likely to have played his last game for the club, with a permanent move away from Anfield expected once he has completed his spell with Rafael Benitez’s side.
