Reina hints at Liverpool exit

Pepe Reina has alerted the interested clubs after hinting he could quit Anfield at the end of the season.

The Spaniard was thought to be unhappy with the situation at the club and he has now only added fuel to speculations linking him with a move away from Anfield.

“I signed a six-year deal seven months ago and I’m happy at the club, but every footballer wants to be competing for trophies and winning things,” said Reina.

”I will stay at Liverpool at least until the end of the season. I know there are rumours about me leaving but I want to make it clear that I have no intention of going back to Spain.”

This will come as great news to Arsene Wenger, who has reportedly singled out Reina as his number one target in January transfer window.
