Newcastle midfielder Remy Cabella will soon complete an outright move to Marseille, Le 10 Sport understands.
The highly rated footballer joined OM on loan in the summer following a disappointing start to his career in England.
And it has now been revealed that a €9 million buy-out clause was not only included in the deal, but that it was automatically triggered midway through the season.
This basically means that Cabella will complete a transfer to Stade Velodrome in the summer, with all three parties likely to be delighted with how things panned out.
The 26-year-old did well to kick-start his career at Marseille, scoring 5 goals in 26 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
In spite of some under par showings, OM still stand an outside chance of securing European qualification seeing they sit six points behind Europa League positions, and are 5/6 to defeat Rennes tonight.
