Chelsea has cancelled Loïc Rémy‘s contract to allow him to make a transfer out to UD Las Palmas, according to a report from Sky Sports.
The Spanish side offered the 30-year-old Frenchman a two-year contract to play in the Estadio Gran Canaria after he passed his medical on Thursday.
Rémy comes to Las Palmas after spending a rather forgettable two years at Stamford Bridge, making only 47 appearances in his tenure with the Blues.
He was plagued by calf and groin injuries during the 2014-15 season, forcing him to miss 12 matches that year.
Last season, the French forward was loaned out to Crystal Palace where he was on the mend again for most of the season after suffering a knee and another calf injury.
After not appearing in a game so far for Chelsea this season, Rémy hopes that a fresh start in the La Liga will revitalize his career, considering he stays healthy.
