Loic Remy could be on his way to Tottenham come end of the season, according to French newspaper La Provence.
Following heavy summer spending Marseille might need to sell a couple of players in the summer in order to balance the books and Loic Remy could be the first one to go.
La Provence claims the France international is almost certain to join Tottenham, a club that have been following him for a while now.
With both Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe set to leave White Hart Lane, Spurs are in need of a new striker and they believe Remy would be a great asset to the squad.
The Premier League side tried to sign the Frenchman in the January transfer window, but the deal eventually fell through.
They are now ready to reignite their interest in the highly rated forward, although the player’s desire to remain at Marseille for another season could prove to be an obstacle to the deal.
Earlier this month Remy revealed that he planned to remain at Velodrome for at least one more season.
