Andrija Zivkovic could be another Serbian player that is set to change club this season. After numerous others that have moved from this or that reason, Zivkovic is looking to find his feet after a couple of tough seasons at Benfica. The 23-year-old winger is not doing well in recent times and his last season in Lisbon is a testament to that.
He was largely on the fringes of the first team, playing just over 1100 minutes in all competitions for the Portuguese giant. That is where Rennes are coming into the picture. The Ligue 1 side are reportedly interested in Zivkovic and they are looking to sign him on loan for the 2019-20 season.
Rennes would probably not be ready to pay upfront for the player and they want to see him first hand, before choosing whether they want to sign him. That is why they would also want to insert an option to buy.
#Rennes are targeting Andrija Živković. Record report that #Benfica winger could be loaned out to the #Ligue1 side with option to buy.
He had a couple of tough years at #SLB where he visibly stagnated. Last season he played just over 1100 mins & had a dreadful #U21EURO campaign. pic.twitter.com/xb6USWReY7
