Rennes keen on Hatem Ben Arfa

France Football is reporting that Rennes are ready to offer Hatem Ben Arfa an escape route from Parc des Princes.

Les Bretons are in the market for attacking reinforcements as Ismaila Sarr is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

As a result, they have approached PSG outcast Hatem Ben Arfa to learn whether he would be interested in moving to Roazhon Park.

The 30-year-old was recently brought back to the first team squad after he was banished to the reserves, but it is highly unlikely he will have a role to play this season.

And with his contract due to expire at the end of the season, a January exit could be on the horizon.

Ben Arfa largely failed to prove his worth at Parc des Princes, as he was not able to register a single goal in 23 league outings for the Saints.
