(GSM) – Former Bayern München goalkeeper Michael Rensing is set for a trial of few days with Championship side Leicester City.
Rensing, who has yet to find a new club since leaving Bayern over the summer, left the Bavarian giants after his contract expired.
The 26-year-old is to link up with the Foxes for training this week and manager Sven Goran Eriksson is keeping an open mind regarding a possible deal.
“He is coming here. It is only on trial and nothing is decided yet,” Eriksson told the LeicesterMercury.
“A lot of agents are ringing to ask if their players can come on trial.”
