(GSM) – Dutch outfit Ajax has shown little interest in Bayern München’s proposal to include Edson Braafheid in a possible transfer of Gregory van der Wiel to the German club.

Bayern expressed its interest in Van der Wiel during the World Cup but the two sides have not been able to agree a fee just yet.

As such, the Germans offered to include Braafheid but Ajax’ reaction has not been positive. Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad reports that the Amsterdam side are not willing to pay the salary Braafheid currently receives in Bavaria.

Ajax set the transfer fee for Van der Wiel, whose contract is valid for another three seasons, at 17 million Euros.
