Heerenveen have rejected a formal offer from PSV Eindhoven for Luciano Narsingh, according to reports.

Sporting director Marcel Brands recently confirmed that the Eindhoven side are interested in signing the Netherlands international, and it is understood that they have now tabled an opening bid for Narsingh.

However, Heerenveen have deemed PSV’s offer insufficient as they have set a five million euro asking price for the right-sided winger, according to Eindhovens Dagblad.

The 21-year-old has also attracted the interest of clubs such as Ajax and Fulham, but his agent Mino Raiola revealed last week that PSV are sitting in pole position to secure the services of his client.

Narsingh has a contract with Heerenveen until June 2013, but is widely expected to join a bigger club in the transfer window.
