New QPR manager Mark Hughes has reportedly been offered a one million-pound bonus to keep the club in the English Premier League.
The former Fulham and Manchester City boss is already said to be one of the highest earners in the top flight, reportedly earning three million pounds a year – just short of the salaries earned by Arsene Wenger, Roberto Mancini and Alex Ferguson.
The Daily Mail says along with a hefty salary and bonuses, owner Tony Fernandes has also promised to back Hughes in the transfer market.
Hughes is said to have 30 million pounds at his disposal to prevent the west London club from making a swift return to the Championship, and a clear out is expected at Loftus Road.
The likes of Clint Hill and Fitz Hall are said to be on their way out of the club, with Hughes thought to be targeting a move for Aston Villa and England striker Darren Bent.
