Competition: FA Cup
Market: Rhys Murphy to score anytime
Odds: 7/5 @ Bet 365
With a spot in the second round of this year’s FA Cup up for grabs, Yeovil will welcome fellow National League outfit Hartlepool to Huish Park Stadium on Tuesday night.
Starting with the hosts, while Yeovil may have seen Boreham Wood snatch the most dramatic of points at the start of the month, it has been a bright start for Darren Sarll’s men. Holding a game in hand and sat just a single point adrift of league leaders Bromley, one man who has continued to spearhead their promotion charge is leading marksman, Rhys Murphy. Already with nine goals across all competitions, the 29-year-old has also now recorded five goals in his last five appearances against National League opposition and has also bagged three goals in as many games at Huish Park Stadium.
As for the visitors, while Hartlepool may have entered November with some real momentum, there is no doubt that fans around Durham would have been concerned by their side’s 1-0 defeat at home against Solihull Moors last week. While Craig Hignett’s men might sit within touching distance of climbing into the top-half in England’s fifth-tier, they have shown some issues away from the Super 6 Stadium. Hartlepool have recorded just a single victory on the road since the start of September and Tuesday’s trip to Huish Park could prove to be another long 90 minutes.
Bet: Rhys Murphy 7/5 to score anytime against Hartlepool in Tuesday’s FA Cup matchup @ Bet 365
