Ribery heading for Qatar?

According to a report from Kicker, Qatari side Al-Sadd Sports Club are interested in going after Bayern Munich veteran Franck Ribery. The Frenchman is widely considered to be one of the greatest Bundesliga players of all time, helping Bayern to achieve great success both domestically and in Europe over the years. Barcelona and Spain legend Xavi is already playing over in Qatar with the very same club, and it’s not like Ribery hasn’t been linked with a move of this nature already. He’s starting to move towards the back-end of his career now, and there’s a very good chance this would be his final big move in football – so why not take the payday?

It’s been clear to see for a while now that he isn’t going to be a part of Bayern’s plans moving forward, so with all things considered, it does seem like a switch that is getting progressively more and more likely.
