According to Kicker, Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery has hinted at a move away from the club. The 35 year old has spent the last 11 years with the German champions, and in that time he’s established himself as a Bayern legend. Alas, as he gets older it seems more and more likely that he’s going to go in search of something new, with recent reports even suggesting that they’re viewing Son Heung-min as a potential long term replacement for the Frenchman.
Ribery has also stated that he’d like to continue playing for three more years until he reaches the age of 38, which hints at a big money move away. Franck has received offers from China as recently as the summer transfer window, but indicated that he still wanted to play Champions League football for at least one more year. Once the season concludes, however, there’s every chance that he’ll look for one final big pay day abroad.
