Franck Ribery will leave his club Bayern Munich to join Real Madrid, next summer.

According to AS, the French star of German football has not responded to an improved contract offer from `Der Rekordmeister`.

The new Madrid president Florentino Perez and Ribery’s agent, Alain Miglaccio, would have already agreed on terms to a deal that should start in July 2010.

Next year, the French international will be in the last year of his contract with Bayern and he could become the new Galactico at the Bernabeu stadium for £ 22 million.

All summer there have been rumors that Ribery would be transferred to Real Madrid but his club refused to let their superstar take off to the Spanish capital.

The 26-year-old midfielder mentioned earlier this summer that it had been a very stressful period for him: “I never asked Bayern to let me go. All I said was if I left Germany, I would want to go to Madrid“, the Frenchman said to Sport Bild.
