Ribery not keen on the move to Premier League

Bayern Munich midfielder Frank Ribery has been quick to deny speculation that he might be heading to the Premier League any time soon by saying he wants to stay at the German side for the rest of his career, Talk Sport reveals.

The France international has been linked with a move to the English Premier League on a number of occasions and some thought that Arsenal were ready to try and bring him to the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window.

Before he joined the Bundesliga giants in 2007, Ribery was being watched by a number of big English clubs, but he chose Bayern Munich and plans to stay there for a while yet.

He said: “I see myself extending my contract again, but first I will talk to (Bayern president) Uli Hoeness.

“In any case, I have not changed my mind, I see myself finishing my career at Bayern Munich. ”

This news is sure to have delighted fans at the Allianz Arena as Ribery is one of their most prized assets and considered as one of the best wide-men in the world right now.

His raw pace and skill earns him a lot of plaudits and admirers, but is seems as though he will not be heading out of Germany anytime soon.
