French winger Franck Ribery has moved to deny speculations that he will leave Alianz Arena by pledging his future to the club.
The France international has been in impressive form at the start of new season and he reveals he is perfectly happy in Munich.
Asked whether he plans to retire at Bayern Munich, Ribery told club’s official website:
“Of course, why not?”
“I am very happy in Munich and my family is totally settled – and now I have a son who is a genuine Bavarian.”
Ribery admitted that he hadn’t had the best possible relationship with Louis van Gaal.
“It is no secret that Louis van Gaal and I did not get along,” he noted. “But for me personally, the matter is closed and forgotten.
“I am feeling mentally free again and really enjoying my football. I am delighted Jupp Heynckes has returned to the club because we have a great relationship.”
