Franck Ribery is trying to keep the peace in Munich. The French star player of Bayern Munich was very hard for his trainer Louis van Gaal last week but now says something completely different in an interview with Bild.
Last week Ribery complained about a `lack of feeling` with Van Gaal. `It’s the first time that I haven`t really felt close to a coach. There`s not much feeling between us at all,` he said in an interview in L’Equipe.
This week, the French winger came up with a different explanation of his relationship with the Dutch coach.
`The trainer has his own philosophy and I respect that. We talk a lot and therefore we get to know each other better every time. We practice hard and good and we’re ready for the big teams,` Ribery said to Bild.
The French international thinks a healthy work environment is necessary for him to perform well. `Enjoying the game is very important for me. When I don’t enjoy it I can`t reach my normal level.`
