Rice linked with Manchester United switch

West Ham United are preparing themselves for a bid from Manchester United for Declan Rice, according to the Daily Star.

The England international has been one of the standout young performers in the Premier this season, having broken into the Hammers’ first team last term.

Manchester United, who recently named Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their permanent manager are set for a busy summer in the transfer market, with several members of their squad linked with moves away.

Rice, who would set the Red Devils back around £50m has racked up sixty-six appearances for the Hammers in all competitions, with both of his goals for the club coming since the turn of the year.

Having represented the Republic of Ireland in three friendly internationals, he changed allegiances to England this year and made his debut for the Three Lions last month.

Manchester United host West Ham in Saturday’s late kick-off and Rice is priced at 13/1 to score at any time.
