Rincon commits to HSV

Bundesliga side Hamburger SV have signed up 21-year-old midfielder Tomas Rincon on a deal that will run through to June 2014.

The Venezuelan midfielder has been at the club on a loan agreement which was due to run out at the end of December.

Rincon has been in impressive form in recent matches and now has the perspective of staking a claim in the HSV midfield over the longer term.

Rincon joined HSV on loan from Deportivo Tachira in January and since then, has made four league appearances to date, being deployed in a defensive midfield role.

“Tomas has a great attitude. He’s played really well recently and he earned those appearances with his constant good showings in training. We’re delighted to have been able to get him on the books and we’re confident that he will keep improving”, coach Bruno Labbadia commented.
