MVV Maastricht welcomed Roda JC at De Geusselt on Thursday evening in the first leg of the Dutch Play-offs Final, but the game itself was marred by incidents involving the two sets of supporters.
Dull goalless draw was flared up by on-pitch fight and object-throwing to and from the stands as masked hooligans attempted to engage in a physical conflict with rivalling fans.
The players had to join in to prevent further incidents and luckily no one was seriously injured.
