Arjen Robbben isn’t satisfied with the short period he got to recover from his injury. The Dutch winger picked up a knee injury against Juventus, five weeks ago but have to return on the pitch as soon as possible to help his struggling teammates. That wasn’t a good idea, Robben experienced.

The Dutch international made his comeback a week ago against Eintracht Frankfurt, but missed the following match against VFB Stuttgart. Bayern boss Louis van Gaal used him as a pinch-hitter on Tuesday night, against Bordeaux.

“I have to be honest, I haven’t had a good revalidation period. I didn’t took my time and I didn’t got a chance to recover well from my injury, without blaming anyone,” Robben told Sport1.

“The squad has a hard time and you want to help the team, but if I’m honest, it didn’t worked out for me.”

Bayern faces another crucial match on Saturday, when they host top flight club Schalke 04.
