Robben eager to sign new Bayern deal

Dutch winger Arjen Robben reveals that he wants to sign a contract extension with Bayern.

The highly rated midfielder has a contract until June 2013 at Alianz Arena, but he now wants to sign a new deal with the Bavarians.

“I have always said I’m really, really enjoying my spell at this club,” Robben told Spiegel magazine.

“I have a superb relationship with everyone at Bayern Munich and I am sure the club is aware of how my thoughts are.

“Actually that is no priority, but there will definitely be some talking. Maybe not in January, February or March.

“But I am fully sure the club will not wait to do so until I am reaching my final year of contract.”
