Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben says Jupp Heynckes is the ideal coach for the club and hopes the tactician remains at Allianz Arena.
Heynckes recently hinted that the 2012/13 campaign could be his last year with the Bavarians, but has since denied that he has already made a decision about his future.
Robben is hopeful the 67-year-old will remain at Bayern, saying he is the best man for the job.
“There’s no-one better suited to coach Bayern than Heynckes at the moment,” Robben told Bild.
“He is doing a great job. The chemistry between the coach and the players is perfect. I hope that he will continue at Bayern if he still feels fit enough.”
Heynckes joined Bayern from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011 and guided them to the Champions League final last term.
