Bayern Munich attacker Arjen Robben says talks about a contract extension are ongoing, but he is in no rush to extend his existing deal.
The Netherlands international is signed up with the Bundesliga giants until the summer of 2013, and a number of clubs are closely monitoring the winger’s situation at the Allianz Arena.
“We have had some good meetings. I cannot say whether we will reach an agreement within one or several weeks though,” Robben was quoted in Bild.
“I am not in a rush to sign a new deal. We need at least one or two more meetings. The most important thing at the moment is our games.”
Robben has been in superb form in recent weeks and netted twice against both Hoffenheim (7-1 win) last weekend and Basel (7-0 victory) on Tuesday.
