Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben believes the international break comes at the right moment for his club.
The majority of the Bayern squad is away on international duty, and Robben believes the brief break will help keep the players fresh as the Bundesliga leaders prepare for several crucial games.
“It will do the Bayern players a world of good to be away from the club for a few days and breathe some fresh air and be surrounded by other people for a change,” Robben told reporters.
“We will pick up where we left off immediately after the break. We will have to pick things up and get back in the rhythm once we’ve all returned to the club on Wednesday.
“We have to reach the level again that’s made us such a strong team this term. We will have to approach each game differently and have to be at our best.”
Bayern take on Hamburg on March 30 in their first game after the international break.
