Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has admitted that he is flattered to be linked with a move to Juventus.
The Turin-based club have been suggested as a possible destination for Robben if he decides to leave Bayern in the off-season, as the Netherlands international is about to enter the final year of his contract.
It is understood that Robben is on the verge of signing a new deal with Bayern until 2015, but the 28-year-old has now admitted that he is pleased by Juve’s interest.
“I am happy at this club, but I have not yet signed a new deal and anything can happen in football,” he told Sky Sport Italia after their 2-1 Champions League victory against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
“Juventus are having a great season. They have built a new squad, which is very strong and they have improved a lot.
“I am pleased that a club like this is interested in me.”
Robben signed for Bayern in 2009 in a reported 25-million-euro deal.
