Former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Robbie Fowler is keen and raring to go when he faces Arsenal at Ewood Park later today in his Blackburn Rover debut.
Fowler has stated that he has fully recovered from a hip operation that has side – lined him for almost twelve months.
BlackburnÂ’s manager Robbie Fowler had offered the striker a three month trial in which to prove his fitness.
The thirty three year old player turned down an extended contract with Championship side Cardiff City.
Fowler added that he was grateful to RoversÂ’ new boss Paul Ince for having given him a chance to rediscover himself at the top flight and he feels that, with his current appetite for success, he still has something to offer.
Paul Ince in turn had said that he signed Fowler as much for his influence in the change room and on the field as his striking ability.
