Sampdoria playmaker Roberto Soriano could be joining Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, Tuttosport can reveal.
The Italy international has decided to leave the Blucerchiati at the end of the current campaign, but everything suggests he will be staying in Serie A.
Reports from Italy suggest that Inter Milan are in pole position to secure his services and they are expected to open new round of talks with Sampdoria in the coming weeks.
Inter Milan already attempted to sign Soriano in January, but they were more concerned with reinforcing their attacking department with his teammate Eder.
Sampdoria are ready to listen to offers in the region of €15 million, but the Nerazzurri will attempt to negotiate a two-year loan with an obligatory purchase option instead.
Inter Milan will be hoping to close the deal before the Euro 2016 finals, seeing that Soriano’s price could increase if he plays an important role for the Azzurri in France.
