Robertson set for Liverpool switch

Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Hull City full-back Andrew Robertson, according to Sky Sports.

The twenty-three year old is set to have a medical with the Merseyside club ahead of a £10m move after the Reds beat a number of Premier League sides in the race to secure his services.

PSV Eindhoven and Sporting Lisbon were also linked with a move for the Scotland international, who signed for Hull from Dundee United in the summer of 2014.

Since arriving on Humberside, Robertson has racked up one hundred and fifteen appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring five goals.

He suffered relegation in his first season with the Tigers before helping them bounce straight back twelve months later, however they dropped back down to the second tier back in May.

Internationally, he has been capped fifteen times, scoring his one and only goal for his country so far in a 3-1 defeat to England back in November 2014.
