Robertson signs new Liverpool deal

The Mirror understands that Andrew Robertson has penned a new five-year contract with Liverpool.

The Scotland international has been one of the stand-out performers for the Premier League leaders this season and has been rewarded with a fresh, long-term deal with the Merseyside club.

Having featured in twenty-two league games for the Reds last season, Robertson has played in all but two of the matches so far this term with his form leading many to describe him as the best left-back in the division.

His one and only goal for Jurgen Klopp’s side so far came in a 4-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion on the final day of last season.

He has been capped twenty-eight times for his country, scoring twice and was appointed captain back in September.
Liverpool host Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon and the home win can be backed at a price of 2/11.
