(GSM) – Want-away Manchester City forward Robinho has revealed that he has turned down a move to Turkey, as he is wants to join a side in Italy or Spain.
The former Real Madrid star had been linked with a move to join former Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster at Besiktas while he has also been linked with Fenerbahce, but the Brazilian has made it clear where his future lies and it is not in Manchester or Turkey.
“With all due respect for Turkish football, I will not go to play there,” Robinho told Rete Globo. “Fenerbahce are the only side to have made a formal offer, but I have already decided I won’t go there.
“Negotiations are on-going, but I can’t talk about it right now. All I can say is that I will play in Italy or Spain.”
