AC Milan forward Robinho has declared his love for the club, revealing he would stay for 10 more years if presented with the opportunity.
Despite an inconsistent start to the season, the 28-year-old has netted against Novara, Cesena and Arsenal over the past month, and the atmosphere currently at the San Siro has prompted him to pledge his loyalty to the club.
“I am feeling very good at Milan, if I had my way I’d stay here for another 10 years,” Robinho told La Stampa.
Robinho said he feels that a win in Saturday’s top-of-the-table blockbuster with leaders Juventus will be more important for morale rather than the standings.
“The match against Juventus will be especially crucial for gaining a psychological edge, rather than the position in the league table,” the Brazilian said.
Robinho added his support for Alexandre Pato, who has endured a disappointing 2011-12 campaign after struggling with injuries and a loss of form.
“Pato is a phenomenon, but (Milan coach Massimiliano) Allegri showed confidence in me and it allowed me to unlock my potential,” he said.
