Robinho insists AC Milan will target all three points against Roma on Saturday despite only needing one to clinch the Serie A title.
Milan lead defending champions Inter by eight points with three games remaining, and can seal their first Scudetto in seven years with a draw against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
But striker Robinho, who has scored 12 goals in the league this campaign, said they will be looking to win the title in the best way possible – with a victory.
“AS Roma have some great players but we will travel to the Stadio Olimpico searching for a victory,” Robinho said.”AC Milan always play to win. We want to win the title in Rome.”
“It’s an important moment for AC Milan but we are in good form and we need to do our best in order to achieve the only point that is missing in order to win the Serie A title.”
The Brazil international said the reason he joined Milan was to win silverware and he was pleased to be able to do it so quickly.
“I arrived in Italy last summer in order to win something important, so my name can remain in the history books of this club, that’s why I’m happy now.”
