Manchester City star Robinho on Thursday admitted he would love to play for Barcelona. English media reported that the Brazilian forward was on his way to the Spanish side but Robinho denies that and says he is yet to receive an offer.
Robinho only joined City last year for a record € 34,5 million from Real Madrid but ever since his arrival at the Eastlands there have been rumours of him being linked with other clubs.
It`s reported that Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola already wanted to sign Robinho this summer.
The rumours suggest that Barca is ready to take the striker initially on loan in January before making the deal permanent in the summer.
`Of course I would like to play for Barca. Who would not? We could have so much fun,` Robinho told El Mundo Deportivo.
`It would be a pleasure to play alongside (Lionel) Messi, my compatriot Dani Alves, Xavi, (Andres) Iniesta, (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic, with all of them.
`They’re a great team. I played against them and know their quality. But right now I can only do it on the PlayStation,` concluded Robinho.
