Robinho on Monaco radar

La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Monaco are showing interest in AC Milan forward Robinho.

The Rossoneri are hoping to offload the experienced footballer in the summer transfer window, and just few days ago it looked as though he would be returning to Santos.

However, even with the two clubs agreeing on a transfer fee, Robinho was unable to strike personal terms with his former club, with the deal eventually failing to materialize.

There is still plenty of time for the 29-year-old to find a new club though, with La Gazzetta dello Sport suggesting that Monaco could make a move.

The Principality club have already made several high-profile signings this summer, but they look ready to continue the summer spending after realizing the Brazilian can be acquired for less than €6 million.

Having made just 11 Serie A starts last term, Robinho is determined to leave San Siro in search of first team football.
