Robinho has moved to quell speculation linking him with a return to Santos by declaring his love for AC Milan.
The 28-year-old’s former employers are reportedly trying to bring the player back to Vila Belmiro on loan for a season and club president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro has claimed that the Brazil international is keen on the switch. However, Robinho insisted that he is going nowhere.
“I know football and I know that when the end of the season arrives there is always a little exaggeration,” he told Milan Channel.
“But the truth is that I’m happy at Milan. I’m happy here and focused on my team and giving my best every day in training. I want to do really well for the Milan fans.”
Robinho, who joined Milan from Manchester City in August 2010, still has two years to run on his current contract with the San Siro outfit.
