(GSM) – Roda JC and FC Utrecht are through to the second and final round of the Dutch play-offs for a Europa League spot.

Roda surprised with a 1-2 win at Heracles after drawing 1-1 in the first leg.

After a goalless first half in Almelo, Heracles took the lead through Darl Douglas in the 62nd minute. But an own goal from Antoine van der Linden in the 80th minute levelled the aggregate score and extra time would have been needed if it wasn’t for Boldizsar Bodor’s winner in added time.

In the other game, Utrecht beat Groningen 0-2 for a 5-1 aggregate victory.

Ricky van Wolfswinkel put Ton du Chatinier’s side in the lead on 38 minutes and Nana Asare removed any remaining doubt at nine minutes from the end.
