Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that he’ll be remaining with the Scottish giants, despite their poor start to the campaign. Many fans have been left baffled by the fact that the reigning champions are down in 6th place, in a division which they’ve made their own throughout the course of their history. Alas, Rodgers doesn’t seem to be too keen on pushing the panic button just yet, which is probably a good idea considering there’s still a long way to go this season.
Rodgers made the move to Celtic after leaving Liverpool, which was a job that also ended poorly. While it’s unlikely that Celtic’s bad form will continue beyond the next few weeks, it is worth noting that Brendan has a tendency to go downhill when it comes to the trajectory of his jobs.
They’ll hope to get back to winning ways against St Johnstone in the Scottish League Cup tonight.
