“I think we’ve started out on a journey here of which we are nowhere near finished. We’re nearly three years in working together and we’ve made some greats steps going forward.”
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that he wants to stay at the Foxes for the foreseeable future.
In recent weeks there’s been some speculation regarding whether or not Rodgers will remain part of the club after a string of poor performances. In addition to that, many also questioned whether Rodgers even wants to be there.
As far as the man himself is concerned, he isn’t thinking about anything other than Leicester City.
Of course, that could all change if an appealing offer comes in or if the board deems him to be someone who isn’t fit for the role anymore.
Whatever the case may be, it’s going to be an interesting couple of weeks – and probably months – for the club.
