Rodri to Man City rumours incorrect?

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, v has not asked to leave Atletico Madrid in favour of a move to Manchester City – which contradicts a previous report that suggested he had. The 22 year old supposedly told the club that he wanted a change of pace, with the Premier League champions being a perfect fit. Alas, that is now said to be false, as Rodri’s future continues to be a great source of debate for the masses.

Atletico have been known to be very tight when it comes to keeping hold of their biggest stars in the past, and we’d imagine the same thing is true of Rodri. The midfielder has only been at the club since last year when he made a switch over from fellow Spanish club Villarreal, but in that time, he’s already been able to make quite the impression on their fans; to the point where he’s considered by many to be one of their top stars.
