Rodrygo to stay at Real Madrid

According to Fabrizio Romano, Rodrygo Goes remains an important member of the team at Real Madrid and his status as such isn’t expected to change this summer, despite the expectations of the squad being notably strengthened in the wide attacking roles.

To make their plans for the future clear, Real put a new contract on the table which the 23-year-old Brazilian winger signed in early November, set to keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu until the summer of 2028. But with Kylian Mbappe expected to join the club from Paris Saint-Germain and Real reportedly resolved to keep Endrick in their ranks for 2024/25, recent reports spoke of interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and the two clubs from Manchester in Rodrygo.

Nonetheless, it seems Real intend to compete strongly on all fronts next season, which is expected to be the last with Carlo Ancelotti in the Bernabeu dugout, and to that end, they aim to secure enviable squad depth. Further more, Rodrygo is believed to be very happy in the Spanish capital and has no intention to leave.
