Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that Juventus are on the verge of signing Rolando Mandragora from Genoa.
The Bianconeri have reportedly find an agreement with their Serie A rivals, securing the signature of one of country’s most exciting prospects.
A number of English Premier League sides were also keen on the 18-year-old midfielder, but Juventus clearly learned from the mistakes committed in the Marco Verratti case and wrapped up the deal before other interested sides had time to act.
Rolando Mandragora had shown some promise after coming through the youth ranks at Genoa, making five Serie A appearances for the Rossoblu last term.
But, it was the loan spell with Pescara that had the biggest effect on his development, as the youngster has clearly profited from regular exposure to first team football.
And despite the fact that he is set to complete a move to Juventus, chances are he will either stay with Pescara until the end of season or be loaned to another Serie B side.
