Roma agree deal for Brazil international

Il Corriere dello Sport has learned that AS Roma are set to wrap up the deal for Internacional goalkeeper Alisson Ramses Becker.

It is no secret that the Giallorossi have been in the market for a new shot-stopper and they appear to have found their man.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma have agreed a €7.5 million transfer with Internacional, with Alisson set to sign a deal until June 2021 at Stadio Olimpico.

The Brazil international will replace Wojciech Szczesny, who is expected to return to parent club Arsenal when his loan deal comes to an end.

Their new signing has established himself as Brazil’s number one goalkeeper, starting last three 2018 World Cup qualifiers for the Selecao.

Alisson, 23, has spent his entire career up to date with Internacional, making a total of 44 league appearances for the Brazilian giants, and he now gets a chance to test his skills in one of Europe’s top championships.
